The former NFL Super Bowl Champion Chandler Jones is not expected to face jail time after being arrested twice back in October of 2023.
Jones had quite a long month that started with an arrest in late September for violating a domestic violence protection order. Just weeks later he was arrested a second time in October for the exact same violation.
Chandler Jones Strange Arrest Wont Lead To Jail Time

The second arrest had fans very concerned about Jones’ mental health, as that was also a reason that he was cut from the New England Patriots even after a stellar performance and helping the team win a Super Bowl.
The contents of the police video are a bit disturbing as Jones’ seemed to not be in a great mental state at the time of the arrest. In the video Jones makes numerous baffling requests from the police including telling an officer to grab him and pull him out of his own car.
Jones then began asking for more favors from the cops. First, he wanted them to take off his hat. Then he asked if he could sit on the ground — before he tried to get an officer to itch his nose and pull up his shirt.
Eventually, cops told him they were going to have to take him to jail for violating a TPO — but when they tried to get him into a squad car, Jones had more issues.

Chandler Jones Court Updates

Back in June, Jones was ordered to a 90 day jail sentence, but now the Las Vegas Justice Court records show that he ca avoid jail time if he can stay out of trouble. He specifically needs to avoid making any contact with the victim under any circumstances.
Per the Las Vegas Review-Journal:
Before receiving his interim sentence, Jones entered a nolo contendere plea, or a no contest plea, that resulted in one of his domestic violence charges being dismissed, court records show.
The second charge would be dismissed if Jones complies with the condition to stay out of trouble for six months, through Dec. 17, according to court records.
Jones has quite an accomplished short career, not only winning a Super Bowl but also a four time Pro Bowler. He has not seen the field since the 2022 season, and that may be unlikely to change as he cannot seem to stay out of trouble. We hope Jones can take control of his mental health and hopefully see him again on an NFL field in the right frame of mind and body.
