NFL Legend Steve Smith Sr. Launches YouTube Channel That Allows Fans To See A Whole New Side

It is no secret that NFL legend Steve Smith Sr. was one of the league’s most productive wide receivers of the 21st century. Among his accomplishments are five Pro Bowl selections as well as three All-Pro selections. In 2005 he truly showed his dominance as he led the league in catches, receiving yards, and touchdowns.

After playing for the Panthers for thirteen seasons, he signed with the Ravens in March 2014. He is the Panthers’ all-time leader in touchdowns (67), receptions (836) and receiving yards (12,197). He amaassed 10,000 career receiving yards in 2011, making him the 35th player in NFL history to reach that incredible milestone.

He retired with 19,180 career all-purpose yards, 14,731 career receiving yards, 1,031 career receptions, and 81 touchdowns.

Now he is allowing fans to see a whole different side of him.

“Ironed Out” is Smith Sr.’s newest YouTube channel devoted solely to golf, which launched this week. This series will feature the legend’s life, football career, golf, and endless other topics.

Steve Smith Sr. changed the game as we know it and kept fans on the edge of their seat every Sunday for nearly two decades.  Allowing fans to see this side of him is nothing short of extraordinary.
