Tuesday was a tough day in the NFL as teams were required to cut down their respective rosters from 90 to just 53 members. A lot of players lost their jobs today, which now includes former New England Patriots Super Bowl champion quarterback Bradley Roby (formerly) of the New Orleans Saints.
Bradley Roby Takes to Twitter After Being Cut by Saints

According to reports, Roby garnered some trade interest prior to Tuesday’s roster-cut deadline with multiple teams reportedly calling the Saints about the former first-round pick’s availability. Nothing materialized on that front, though, and New Orleans was left with no other choice but to cut the veteran cornerback, who will now be in search of his next team in free agency.
Roby took to Twitter shortly after he heard about the team’s decision, and he was nothing but gracious in his farewell message to the Saints and his now-former teammates:
“Goodluck to my brothers and the Saints fans y’all deserve to be winners !” Roby wrote in his tweet.

Roby has a lot of experience under his belt, which also includes a Super Bowl ring. Inconsistency and injuries have been major hurdles for the 31-year-old throughout his career, but there’s no denying that this man can still be a significant contributor to an NFL team. This is exactly why it won’t come as a surprise if multiple teams try and sign him once he clears the waiver wire. At this point in his career, it shouldn’t be long before Bradley Roby finds a new home.
