Cam Ward will be playing for the Tennessee Titans in the next NFL season according to Dane Brugler NFL Writer for The Athletic. Brugler responded to a tweet put out by sportswriter Jim Wyatt that the Titans have decided to cancel their private workout with Shedeur Sanders.
Sanders is definitely one of the most looked-forward to players in the upcoming NFL draft and is being eyed by a number of teams. However, reports are that the Titans have watched plenty of game film on the talented player and have the necessary information to make a decision. As a result, they have cancelled the private workout.
“After yesterday’s Colorado Pro Day, @Titans brass met with Shedeur Sanders’ camp and the parties have agreed to cancel the upcoming private workout. The Titans have seen 4 years of game film, scouted multiple games, and now attended a Pro Day they described as very impressive.” Jim Wyatt tweeted through his X account.

The Tennessee Titans had a very disappointing season last time out and will try to bounce back with a much better performance in the 2025 NFL season. In the 2024 NFL season, the Titans finished fourth in the AFC South table after winning only three games and losing 14. The Titans played their very last game of the season against the Houston Texans, losing the game 23-14.

Cam Ward Finished Private Workout With Tennessee Titans With A Bang
While Shedeur Sanders’ private workout with the Tennessee Titans may have been cancelled, Cam Ward already finished his session with them and clearly knocked their socks off. Cam Ward last played college basketball for the Miami Hurricanes, and before that for the Incarnate Word Cardinals and the Washington State Cougars.

In his time with the Miami Hurricanes, Cam Ward managed a total of 4,313 passing yards, scoring 39 touchdowns, while managing seven interceptions for the team. In his career, Ward has already been at the receiving end of a number of titles, including the Davey O’Brien Award and the Manning Award. Last year, the 22-year-old quarterback was named ACC Player of the Year.

If Cam Ward indeed joins the Tennessee Titans, he will be doing the team a massive favor in terms of offense. The Tennessee Titans clearly need a boost in this area, which was the main reason for their dismal performance in the 2024 NFL season.
