The NFL is currently conducting their annual owners meeting in Palm Beach, Florida. Ther have been numerous rule changes already implemented for the upcoming season and beyond. Overtime rules have changed drastically, the defensive holding penalty stayed the same, but the Tush Push Ban proposed by the Green Bay Packers has been tabled until May.
Now the Commissioner of the league has taken a side in the big debate.
BREAKING: NFL’s Roger Goodell Takes Obvious Side In Tush Push Ban; Fans Explode

According to multiple sources:
Uh Oh: Roger Goodell on banning the tush push:
“I think there are safety issues being considered with the tush push. We have very little data but we see the potential risk. It makes a lot of sense to go back to the old rule prohibiting pulling or pushing ball carriers.”
The Tush Push being banned may soon become a reality.
As previously mentioned, NFL owners have tabled the ban of the tush-push. A second discussion will take place in May.
Currently, 16 owners support banning the tush-push. There is a possibility that the NFL will revisit the issue in May, and if they do, those 16 owners will try to sway eight more votes to ban it. 24 out of 32 votes are needed.

Fans had an immediate reaction to this news:
