“Now I’m Mad”: Tom Brady, Logan Paul Get Into It Over Athleticism Debate

NFL icon Tom Brady and social media influencer Logan Paul have turned a promotional appearance into a full-blown athleticism debate. What began as playful trash talk ahead of a flag football event has quickly escalated into a social media sparring match.

During a recent podcast appearance, Brady downplayed Paul’s attempts to compare himself to football players, describing WWE as cute while stressing that professional football is real competition. The seven-time Super Bowl champion pointed to the caliber of athletes expected at the upcoming Fanatics Flag Football Classic, including stars such as Saquon Barkley and Justin Jefferson.

Paul did not take kindly to the remarks. The WWE performer fired back online, mocking Brady’s comments and suggesting that football players are not untouchable, even recreating one of Barkley’s signature hurdles in a video meant to underscore his own explosiveness.

As the clip circulated, Brady sought to clarify his stance on social media. He emphasized the intensity of the event and said anyone on his team would be locked in with the goal of dominating, while adding that Paul has the right mindset even if questions remain about how his athleticism translates to football.

Brady and Paul went at each other over which of the stars from the two organizations are more athletic. This debate can be seen in a pair of posts shared by the league GOAT and Dov Kleiman.

The reaction only added fuel to the exchange. After his clarification post generated widespread attention, Brady followed up with a brief message admitting he was having a great morning and now he was mad, a line that quickly went viral and drew speculation about whether playoff-mode Brady had been activated once again.

Whether the back-and-forth is genuine frustration or calculated hype, it has succeeded in drawing attention to the March 21 event in Riyadh. For now, the debate over NFL grit versus WWE flash remains unresolved, with both men promising to let their performance do the talking.
