NFL fans all think that Sean McVay pulled off a bit of gamesmanship after the comeback victory against Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers.
Sean McVay Caught in Viral Photo “Disrecpeting” Rival
The Los Angeles Rams and coach McVay did not just beat the 49ers, they did incredibly, coming back the whole game to find a way to win in the end and avoid an awful 0-3 start to the season.
The team was done 14-0 to start the game but fought for 60 minutes and were able to find a way to come out on top. If they go on to build a winning streak, this game would be a monumental moment in their season. Their quarterback Matthew Stafford balled out as he usually does when playing from behind. He was missing almost all his receivers and too many offensive linemen and was still able to will his team to victory.
After the game ended with a last-second field goal victory, fans caught McVay and Shanahan in a now-viral photo. The photo shows the Rams head coach patting Shanahan on the top of his head, which has been called ‘lil bro-ing” someone. NFL fans are all convinced that McVay did just that after the game:
“I mean this honestly might be the most disrespectful picture in sports history,” one fan said.
Another fan wrote, “This pic is crazy.”
“The reach up for the top is crazy,” a third fan tweeted.

Shanahan and McVya have the utmost respect for one another, so it makes sense that the 49ers’ head coach only had positive things to say about his rival team and opposing coach. On the contrary, he only praises them as they were able to come back to his team down multiple scores:
“You’ve got to take their hope away,” Shanahan said. “You give Stafford too much hope [and] you put a ball in his hands at the end, it’s not a situation you want to be in.”
No matter what, this will be an incredible rematch later on in the season, as both teams should be at their best and have many of their missing players hopefully return.
The season has been plagued with injuries just 3 game into the year for both these teams, and many others. When healthy each of these teams has a chance to represent the NFC n the Super Bowl, as both of them have in the last few seasons.
