NFL legend Tom Brady was back to being a rookie in week 1 of this season. A rookie in his broadcasting career of course, and he was a bit nervous, to say the least. He even had some fans and analysts poking fun for being too robotic and not having enough animation.
Brady clearly listened, and just like the rookie quarterbacks, he is getting more comfortable in week 2. He made some changes in this week’s broadcasting session, and fans have been loving it.
Tom Brady Made Key Changes in Week 2

The elite quarterback was much more animated when it came to the New Orleans Saints‘ absolute domination of the Dallas Cowboys this week. The Saints gave a beta down from start to finish and won the game 44-19. Brady was calling that game alongside Kevin Burkhardt, Erin Andrews, and Tom Rinaldi, and he seemed much more relaxed and enthusiastic in this week 2 matchup.
In his first matchup, Brady was nervous as this was a completely new experience for him. As he continues to get comfortable in the booth, fans will get more great sound bites from him on the game.
“Brady was more loose, assertive and entertaining during Fox Sports’ telecast of Cowboys-Saints,” Front Office Sports wrote.
NFL World Praising Tom Brady For Changes

Many NFL analysts and fans noticed this change and were all on social media raising his quick fix to some of the issues in week 1.
“He’s been loose, confident and informative during the first half of Cowboys vs. Saints,” Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports wrote. “Much better game telecast so far by Brady and [Kevin] Burkhardt on Fox.”
“Tom Brady much more assertive early as compared to first quarter opening week,” The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand said.
“Tom Brady is already wayyy more comfortable and natural in the booth this week than he was in Week 1,” sidelined reporter Vanessa Richardson observed.
“I regret to inform you that Tom Brady is offering good, non-cliched insight in doses today,” Guardian’s Ollie Connolly wrote. “He sounds comfortable and confident and like he may even be enjoying himself.”
Brady was much more animated on an incredible throw from Derek Carr, and he must have taken NFL Redzone’s, Scott Hanson’s advice on getting more hype.
