The NFL is back, and the season opener was wildly entertaining even though it started half an hour late due to a weather delay. We got a fantastic rematch of the AFC championship between the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs from last season, and it came down to the last play in shocking fashion!
Fans are set for another huge game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers, but everyone needs Peacock to be able to watch it.
NFL In Brazil May Not Have Been The Right Move
For the first time in the history of the sport, two teams will be facing off in Brazil for Friday night football. While the matchup of these two teams is incredible and should be just as entertaining as the opening game, there have been many issues with playing this game in Brazil.
It has been a controversial topic since the league announced a game in Brazil, and many players have already expressed their concern about playing there. Players expressed how much they do not want to play a game in Brazil.
NEWS: #Eagles Darius Slay does NOT WANT TO GO TO BRAZIL
“They already told us not to leave the hotel. Can’t do too much because of crime”
‘NFL..? WHY SEND US TO A PLACE WITH A HIGH CRIME RATE?”
“I told my family do not come down there”

Hey @NFL get some balls and cancel the Packers/Eagles game in Brazil after they banned free speech in their country. You won’t do it, but you SHOULD!

While the location of the game has been quite controversial, fans are especially enraged by the fact they will need to get Peacock in order to watch this incredible matchup.

“Peacock exclusive on a friday night in brazil between two great teams. Nfl really outdid themselves,” one fan said.
“Of course this game has to be a PEACOCK EXCLUSIVE. What happened to my sport,” another fan said.
“Happy Packer gameday to all the grandchildren that get calls from their grandparents asking what Peacock is and why they can’t get the game,” one fan noted.
“Packers and Eagles are way too big of franchises to be put on Peacock. Same with Oregon football tomorrow,” another fan said, as Oregon’s game against Boise State will also be exclusively on Peacock.
“I need to understand, so the Eagles Packers game is a international game to expand to international audiences but the game is only coming on Peacock, a streaming service that is not available internationally and only in the US. How does this make any sense,” one fan asked.
“Am I subscribing to Peacock just to watch the game? Nope,” said one Packers fan.
The game will only be available on Peacock, and we will have to wait and see if the viewership is lower because of the fan reaction.
