In one of the most bizarre NFL stories circulating social media at the moment as there is a new book about the MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers that came out recently. In the book, there were some strange details that revealed quite a controversy between Rodgers ex girl friend and his parents.
Aaron Rodgers Book Reveals Yet Another Controversy
In the upcoming book centered around Rodgers life called “Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers,” the writer, Ian O’Connor recalled an incident that had occurred between Rodgers’ then girlfriend Olivia Munn and his parents. Munn spoke openly about her sexual relationship with Rodgers and that did not sit well at all with the mother of Aaron, Darla. She was disturbed by their activity apparently:
“Given her devout religious views, Aaron’s mother disapproved of premarital sex and was opposed to her middle child sharing a hotel room with his girlfriend even as an NFL player,” O’Connor wrote.
Munn went on angry rant with her boyfriend’s parents as well over their plans to attend games:
“Ed and Darla explained that they had been attending Aaron’s games since he was a kid and did not need her permission to continue to do so,” O’Connor wrote.
While this is ancient history as they dated back in 2014 to 2017, fans are disturbed by this all coming out as they feel this should not be in the book as this is way too personal.
NFL Fans Did Not Want To Know About This
After this excerpt from the book saw the light of day, fans were very quick to social media questioning why in the world and of us need to know something like this that is so private and personal.
“So Rodgers estranged parents may actually be weirder than him,” one person wrote on X.
Another person said, “Why would anyone ever need this information?”
“He’s one of the people that I have loved to watch play football since 2010, but never kept up with him outside of game day because he and his family are so odd,” a fan explained.
“Why is this public info lol,” a second fan tweeted.
I must agree with these fans, as no one cares about these things or wants to know. Rodgers has been making headlines for only off the field stories. The season can’t come soon enough so we can be exclusively talking about football and football alone!
We will have to wait and see how this crazy off season will impact Rodgers for the New York Jets, who is also coming off the worst injury in his career at the age of 41. If he can come to play this season, he will not only silence all the doubters, but can establish himself as truly one of the greatest to ever do it.
