The Saints have scored on their first 15 possessions of the season, demonstrating a well-oiled machine under Kubiak’s guidance. The offense has benefited from a strong running game, with Alvin Kamara back to form, contributing significantly in both rushing and receiving.

Folks (and teams) have given up on Mayfield, Darnold and Fields on various occasions, but all three are former premium first-round draft picks in their 20s.

Meanwhile, Sam Darnold has found new life with the Minnesota Vikings, placing among statistical leaders after impressive victories. The Pittsburgh Steelers with Justin Fields in the lineup is also doing well this early into the season.
