“Placed On Admin Leave” Active NFL Coach Arrested For Battery, Mug Shot Released (Report)

A domestic disturbance led to the arrest of Miami Dolphins outside linebackers coach Ryan Crow early Friday morning in Fort Lauderdale:
According to Fort Lauderdale police, officers were called to the 200 block of South Federal Highway around 12:10 a.m.
Police said Crow, 37, was arrested at the scene on one count of misdemeanor domestic battery. They confirmed that the victim was not seriously injured and declined medical attention.

The Dolphins released a statement later Friday addressing the arrest.
“We are aware of the serious matter involving Ryan Crow and currently gathering more information,” the statement read. “Ryan has been placed on administrative leave effective immediately. We have been in communication with the NFL and will reserve further comment at this time.”
As of Friday morning, he was being held at the Broward Main Jail with no bond set.
Local 10 News has requested his arrest report from the FLPD.

According to Miami’s official website:
Ryan Crow joined the Miami Dolphins as outside linebackers coach in 2024.
The 2025 season marks his eighth as an NFL coach and second with Miami after spending six seasons (2018-23) with Tennessee. He also spent seven years as a collegiate coach.
In 2024, Crow oversaw the development of rookie linebacker Chop Robinson, who steadily improved over 17 games for a breakout season. He totaled 26 tackles (16 solo), 6.0 sacks, eight tackles for loss, 14 quarterback hits and four passes defensed. His 6.0 sacks and 14 quarterback hits were both the second-most among NFL rookies in 2024. Robinson was named to the 2024 PFWA All-Rookie Team and a finalist for the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year.
In Crow’s three seasons (2021-23) as Tennessee’s outside linebackers coach, he helped several Titans defenders to some of the best seasons in their career including Denico Autry and Harold Landry III. The Titans finished in the top half of the league in rushing defense all three seasons.
