With rosters needing to be trimmed down to 53 players on Aug. 26 at 4 p.m. ET, the Patriots are approaching the final phase of the offseason. They already decided to release 14 players on Friday, and there will be a slew of moves getting made over the next few days.
It’s been a hectic offseason for Vrabel, who was hired to replace Jerod Mayo after his disastrous one-year stint with the team. He’s worked on rebuilding the Patriots to his liking, and the early returns have been quite encouraging.
With one final push, Vrabel and his team will be preparing for the regular season. So, with popular country musician performing a show at Gillette Stadium on Friday night, Vrabel decided to have some fun, as he ended up being recruited to walk Wallen out to the stage for his show.

Artists have begun recruiting local popular figures to walk them out to the stadium for their shows, and with his latest concert at Gillette Stadium, Wallen didn’t have to look very far to find someone to help him.
While there were several potential candidates, Wallen chose Vrabel, and it wasn’t much of a surprise to see the decision be well-received by fans.
