The NFL is learning of some devastating news on Wednesday afternoon after a star suffered a scary injury at practice. According to multiple reports, he was airlifted to the nearest hospital for further treatment.

On Wednesday, Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Bayron Matos was injured, and his condition appeared to be critical:
The team announced that offensive lineman Bayron Matos was transported to a local hospital in a helicopter after suffering an injury near the end of the session.
The nature of the injury is not known. However, the team said that Matos is in stable condition.
Matos is just 24 years old.
For him to be airlifted to a hospital leas you to believe that this might be an injury he might not be able to come back from in order to play in 2025.

Due to the injury to Bayron Matos, the team ended practice. He was surrounded by teammates before he would leave the field entirely.
The team later made it clear that his injury was not the reason practice ended after 90 minutes. First training camp practices generally tend to be shorter.
Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Bayron Matos suffered an undisclosed injury at the end of Wednesday’s practice and was flown to a hospital on a helicopter for evaluation.
The 24-year-old played college at South Florida before he made his way to the league.
Matos, a 6-7, 334-pound offensive lineman, is in his second year in the league and has not played a snap in an NFL game.
Born in the Dominican Republic, he initially played baseball growing up and reportedly could throw in the 90s as a pitcher. Once he moved to the United States, he would go on to play college basketball for two years at New Mexico and for a year at the University of South Florida.
Matos walked on as a football player at USF and played a couple of dozen snaps on defense before moving to the offensive line.
