The NFL community is reeling after yet another home robbery took place while his team was away. This continues to be a problem throughout the league, specifically for teams who are on the road. This time, however, the 3-time pro-bowler spoke out to the people who robbed his house.
NFL Star Jeffery Simmons Blasts “Cowards” After Home Burglary During Titans Game

Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons unleashed fury on social media after discovering his Nashville home was burglarized by at least six suspects while he was across the country playing the San Francisco 49ers in an NFL game on Sunday.
The break-in occurred shortly after 7 p.m. local time on December 14, with intruders smashing window glass to gain entry and stealing multiple items. Simmons arrived home early Monday and immediately called police.
Simmons’ Outraged NFL Reaction
The two-time Pro Bowler vented on social media: “What if any of my family members was in my house?? All that materialistic s–t you can have but this is crazy!” He branded the burglars “f–king cowards.”
In a follow-up statement, Simmons thanked authorities: “I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the Metro Nashville Police Department and the Titans’ security team for their professionalism and swift response. Their dedication to ensuring the safety of our entire Nashville community does not go unnoticed. I remain thankful for God’s protection and grace.”
Titans security is collaborating with police to recover stolen property.
Timing During NFL Game Adds Insult
The burglary happened while Simmons suited up in California for the Titans’ 37-24 loss to the 49ers. Ironically, he scored his second career touchdown in the game—a bright spot in an otherwise tough day.
This incident highlights growing concerns for NFL players’ home security, with several high-profile burglaries targeting athletes’ residences during games in recent years.
Metro Nashville Police are investigating; no arrests reported yet.
Simmons, a cornerstone of the Titans’ defense, channels frustration into motivation as Tennessee fights for relevance in the AFC South.
A reminder that NFL stars face risks off the field too—stay safe, Jeffery.
