In the last few days, former top NFL pick Justin Blackmon has been arrested on troubling charges. The arrest isn’t all fans are talking about unfortunately:
Blackmon, 35, was reportedly arrested in Oklahoma over the weekend. A man named Justin Carl Blackmon was reportedly arrested in Oklahoma. The man was reportedly arrested for public intoxication.
A mugshot of the man, believed to be the former top NFL Draft pick, has made its way online. Blackmon, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, is barely recognizable in the mugshot that has gone viral on social media.
“This was one of the most talented wide receivers in college football history. So sad, I hope he gets the help he needs,” the post read on social media.

Blackmon, who played in the NFL from just 2012-13, is barely recognizable in his mugshot.
“Man, really sad to see Justin like that,” one fan wrote.
“Damn what happened to him??” one fan added.
“That’s so sad. So much thrown away potential. I pray he gets help,” one fan added.
“Dude was unguardable and had hands that could catch anything,” one fan added.
“Before his draft at least 1 team sent a scout to a local bar to see how much time Justin Blackmon spent there. They lost count after less than two days and they took him off their draft board,” another fan suggested.
“Just casually walked back onto an NFL field after a year and a half of suspension and injury to dominate for two games. Just imagine what this man could’ve done if he could’ve stayed sober,” one fan added.
