The quarterback position is the the most important piece on an NFL roster and in all of sports. Games and seasons are determined by one individual’s performance. It’s a position like none other. Unfortunately, injuries happen with quarterbacks. Even worse, some of these injuries result in weeks lost and even being out for a season. Because of how important the position is, it’s talked about the most. Going into the 2024 season, here are five quarterbacks I am most intrigued to watch.
2024 NFL Intriguing Quarterbacks: Aaron Rodgers

I can’t think of a quarterback who will be watched on the field more than Aaron Rodgers. Following a very successful 18 years in Green Bay, Rodgers was traded to the Jets last season. It was a short stint as Rodgers tore his Achilles after only four plays.
Rodgers will go down as one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history. At age 39, can he come back from a major injury and lead a Jets team with big expectations to the playoffs this season? It will be interesting to see how well he recovers throughout the season as well.
Anthony Richardson

There was a ton of hype around Anthony Richardson when he was drafted last season. Like Rodgers, Richardson dealt with injuries his rookie year and only played in five games. He is a freak of nature and has a cannon for an arm.
With the size and speed on his side, I think it will still take some time for him to get used to the speed of the NFL. The quicker he catches on, the more exciting he is going to be. However, I am not a big fan of the receiving weapons surrounding him. It will be interesting to see how often Shane Steichen uses Richardson as a runner.
Russell Wilson

It feels like it is now or never for Russell Wilson. After a successful run with Seattle his first 10 years in the NFL, teams have picked up on Wilson and he’s been unable to run around in the pocket and make eye-popping plays the way he use too. It was a brutal two year run with Denver, who traded for Wilson.
Now in Pittsburgh and Justin Fields serving as the back-up, how much of a leash will Wilson have? Mike Tomlin is yet to have a losing record as the head coach. In a tough division like the AFC North, I can’t see the Steelers lasting with Wilson long if he struggles.
Caleb Williams

Caleb Williams has as much hype of a rookie NFL quarterback since Andrew Luck in 2012. He is the Bears starter and will have no competition to keep it. Chicago is going all in on the number one pick.
Williams should have a good first year as the Bears have brought in DJ Moore (last season), Keenan Allen, and drafted Rome Odunze in the first round. That this three very good receivers for a first year signal caller. if everything goes well in year one, this will be an intriguing quarterback for the next 10-15 years.
Will Levis

There is no denying the talent of Will Levis. In a way, it feels like Tennessee got a steal drafting him in the second round last year after being seen as a top 10 pick.
Like Williams, the Titans have put good receivers around Levis. Tyler Boyd and Calvin Ridley arrive via free agency. Treylon Burks was drafted a few years ago, and DeAndre Hopkins was added last year. Running back Tony Pollard is a receiving threat as well. It feels like a now or never year for the second year Levis.
