Many NFL fans, Robert Griffin III, and others were watching the Vice Presidential Debate on Tuesday night on CBS and other networks between J.D. Vance and Tim Walz. This was the only debate between the two before the election next month on November 5.
Early voting has already started, but for the people who have yet to vote, this debate may have swung independent and other voters. This debate brought up something that wasn’t brought up during the Presidential Debate last month between Donald J. Trump and Kamala Haris: Civility.
Former NFL Player Robert Griffin III Tweets Out About the Vice Presidential Debate
Many people tweeted about the debate on Tuesday night. Many debated about who won between J.D. Vance and Tim Waltz and many thought Vance aced the debate over Waltz. However, Robert Griffin III wrote this tweet to his NFL fans after the debate ended:
Biggest takeaway from the Vice Presidential debate? It was respectful. Regardless of what side you are on or what way you will vote, I hope you could at least see that. Something that was once the standard is now an anomaly. We have to get back to making it the standard.

There is no doubt that he is correct about this statement. This is something that is missing in today’s political climate.

This debate is 10000% better than any of the presidential debates. Both candidates: Respectful, willing to agree to points, discuss compromise, AND DISCUSS POLICY. Bravo Senator Vance and Governor Walz.

It was such a nice change of pace from the presidential debate. It’s sad that I consider it unique it was mostly professional.
Vance was the clear winner though.

Biggest takeaway is that Vance was Troy Polamalu in the C-gap and Walz was McAfee yelling “WE ARE KICKING IT!”

All the left accounts say Walz demolished JD and all the right accounts say JD destroyed Walz.
WHO DO I BELIEVE!?!

These accounts had some interesting reactions to the Vice Presidential Debate. There was respect for one another after this was over. Hopefully, NFL fans, Griffin III, and others can get this message across to others moving forward.
