The New Orleans Saints were the last team that needed a new head coach in the NFL. The Saints have underachieved over the last couple of seasons and have not been the same since Sean Payton and Drew Brees left.

New Orleans is looking to get back into the playoffs next season. One of their main targets for the next head coach was Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. He was one of the reasons why the Eagles won Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans against the Kansas City Chiefs by a final score of 40-22.
New Orleans Saints To Hire Kellen Moore As Next Head Coach

It was the worst-kept secret in the NFL, but it was officially announced on Tuesday by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport that the Saints are hiring Kellen Moore as their next head coach. Moore helped the Eagles to one of the top offenses in the NFL this season with Jalen Hurts at quarterback.
Kellen Moore will have a good quarterback room next season with Derek Carr and Spencer Rattler unless he wants to move in a different direction with that group. The New Orleans Saints will have a lot of decisions to make on the offensive side of the football this offseason.

Shocking. The Saints got their guy. He was their #1 pick the entire time.

The Saints finished 5-12 this season and Dennis Allen was fired during the middle of the season. New Orleans missed the playoffs once again and they are looking to get back to the playoffs next season. Kellen Moore will provide a fresh set of ideas on the offensive side of the football next season and potentially beyond as well.
