NFL fans are erupting on social media over what former president Donald Trump shared today. For recent weeks now, the wife of the Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes has shown support for the former president.
Today, Trump gave over a long thank you message to Brittany Mahomes for her support, seemingly claiming that both the star quarterback and his wife have endorsed the former President for his 2024 campaign.
Donald Trump Thanks Brittany Mahomes For Endorsing Him
This all started a couple of weeks ago when Brittany liked an Instagram post that detailed the GOP’s mission in this upcoming election, which led many NFL fans to criticize her for endorsing Trump. Following that situation, Mahomes went to like a post that said:
“Glad to see you aren’t backing down. We are all entitled to our own opinions and shouldn’t be bullied into submission.”
She clearly remained steadfast in her support for Trump. The former president must have had this come across his desk as he came out with a long thank you message to the Mahomes family for their support for him.
Not only did Trump thank Brittany but he also expressed his support for the Chiefs this year to reach the Super Bowl again:
“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,” Trump wrote on social media. “With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless “leaders,” it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM. What a great couple – See you both at the Super Bowl!”

Trump seems to have picked his favorite for this year, saying that the Chiefs will undoubtedly end up in the Super Bowl. Fans have taken all different tangles on this with some in support and others wondering if it’s all true.
NFL Fans Erupt Over Donald Trump’s Message
It comes as a surprise to no one that fans have been erupting on social media to this message by the former president. Fans are speculating that Mahomes may have had a longer conversation with the former president for him to come out publicly acknowledging their endorsement.
Patrick himself has remained completely apolitical saying many times that he does not wish for his voice to pressure anyone to think a certain way:
“I don’t want to pressure anyone to vote for a certain president,” Mahomes said, per Time magazine.
“I want people to use their voice, whoever they believe in. I want them to do the research.”
However, this hasn’t stopped fans from speculating that he must indeed support the former president in this upcoming election. Some fans wondered what the story is behind this while others just took issue with his support of the Chiefs this season:

“So help me god anyone but the chiefs win the super bowl this year please i beg you,” one person tweeted.
“The Kansas City Chiefs have become this odd nexus for the many different factions of America.”
“Well now Taylor is really never gonna be seen with her again,” a third person wrote.
With the election coming up very soon it appears that Brittany will be voting for Trump. We will have to wait and see if they have a nice kumbaya together at the Super Bowl. Before that however, Trump will have to win this election, and the Chiefs will have to make it back to yet another Super Bowl.
