The NFL’s most accomplished coach is out of the game this season. Bill Belichick was only really looked at this offseason by one team – the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons decided to go with Raheem Morris instead, and that was a slap in the face to the 8 time Super Bowl champion Belichick.
Belichick appeared on the “ManningCast” during the Monday night matchup between the Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles, and he took this opportunity to absolutely roast the Falcons. Fans love what Bill said about the team that did not hire him.
Bill Belichick Couldn’t Help Himself Talking About Atlanta Falcons
Bill dropped tons of gems on his Monday night showing alongside the Manning brothers, and he could not himself but roast the Falcons at every chance he got. Firstly, Belichick was very quick to point out all the Falcon’s issues this offseason in regards to tampering. When talking about their receiver Darnell Mooney, Belichick pointed out the issues the team had in getting him:
“one of those three free agents they signed illegally— Mooney, Woerner and of course Cousins — that they contacted early, got fined for it, lost a draft choice and all that.”
“I said, ‘You know what? I need to sit down and watch this and make sure that we still won it,” Belichick joked. “Because maybe that was just a dream.”
He went further, to take a shot at the team’s owner Arthur Blank:
“I also remember Blank down on the sideline in the fourth quarter celebrating when they were ahead,” Belichick said to laughter from the Mannings as Peyton asked how he noticed during the game. “He’s a pretty good dresser now. Arthur’s always looked sharp. But he was down there on the sideline and we were getting beat, and I’m like, ‘Jesus.’ But anyway…”
It didn’t stop there, as Bill then went on to roast the Falcons defense every chance he got:
“Can’t tackle. Can’t tackle him … Honestly, it was the same issue last week,” Belichick said. “They didn’t tackle very well against Pittsburgh.”

Belichick clearly has a bad taste in his mouth about eh Falcons for how they dealt with him this offseason. When talking about one of the Falcons players getting an unnecessary penalty:
“That’s not good. That just hurts your team. That’s a really selfish play,” Belichick stated. “So I hope McCloud feels good about that because I don’t think anyone else on Atlanta does.”

Belichick’s new personality since leaving his head coaching role has been a treat for fans, and many NFL fans took to social media to react to Belichick roasting the Falcons all night long.
