The NFL is seeing one of their 32-year-old veteran stars get away with some fairly shocking allegations. As details are being released, it appears that he will walk away scot-free and be able to continue his NFL career.
“They Were Assault Rifles” NFL Star Shockingly Gets Out Of Weapon Charges, DA Drops Case (Breaking Report)

A huge break just came Denzel Perryman’s way:
The Los Angeles Chargers linebacker was released from Los Angeles County jail on Monday after the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office decided not to file criminal charges following Perryman’s arrest on weapons violation charges.
The 32-year-old was stopped Friday by South Los Angeles Station deputies for vehicle code violations. During that stop, deputies discovered five firearms in Perryman’s vehicle, two of which were assault style rifles.
“He was arrested and booked on weapons violation charges and was cooperative with deputies,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.
His charges were so bad that Perryman was being held without bail at the South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station. However, he would be released from jail on Monday after the District Attorney’s Office decided not to press charges.

Perryman was on his way to a gun range at the time, but it should be noted that his particular guns are illegal in California.
Prior to the news about Denzel Perryman’s case, Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh discussed the situation at his press conference.
“He’s working through the legalities along with his representation,” Harbaugh said. “Had a chance to see him yesterday, he’s in good spirits. . . . We’re just letting the due process play out.”
Perryman is in his second stint with the Chargers, having played for them from 2015, when he was a second-round pick by the team when they were still based in San Diego.
Perryman also played for the Las Vegas Raiders and Houston Texans before returning to the Chargers for the 2024 season.
During the 2024 season, he started all 11 games that he played in.
His dropped charges mean it is much easier for the team to keep him around than to cut him.
