It would appear that the NFL has a serious problem with Dallas Cowboy’s owner Jerry Jones. The 82-year-old has had a significant impact on the league for more than three decades. His ability to completely turn around Dallas’ franchise in the 1990s made the NFL billions of dollars.
However, that doesn’t mean Jones is above the rules.
Jerry Jones receives extreme punishment from the NFL (breaking news)

The Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones admitted he made an “unfortunate” gesture during Sunday’s game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. Despite how much honesty is appreciated, there is still a price to pay:
According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the NFL is fining Jones $250,000 for giving the middle finger – maliciously or not – during the game. Jones will be allowed to appeal the fine.

Given that Jerry Jones is a literally billionaire, a fine like that isn’t exactly going to hurt his bottom line too much. Fans on social media have been making fun of that very point ever since the report was made.
“The guy gambled $300,000 in 1989 money on a coin flip, I think he can survive that,” one user pointed out on X.
“Jerry Jones treating fines like tip jars at this point,” wrote another.
“Tell me, how does one ‘inadvertently’ gesture a thumbs up that accidentally turns into a middle finger?” a third mocked.
“May have some hate towards the guy, but this fine doesn’t even put a dent in his wallet.”
“That’s pocket change for Jerry. he probably spends more on a dinner at his favorite steakhouse.”
That being said, Jones is probably going to appeal regardles
