Let’s take a look at where the betting money is going for NFL Week 3.
Against The Spread Betting Money
According to Arthur Dicesare of the Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas, Nevada, significant money has been bet on the home underdog Carolina Panthers in their divisional matchup against the New Orleans Saints. It opened Carolina +3 at the Westgate and is currently +2.5.
Dicesare explained that the San Francisco 49ers have seen a lot of “sharp money” in their Sunday Night contest versus the Denver Broncos. The 49ers opened as +2.5-point underdogs and are now -1.5-point favorites.
Due in part to Justin Herbert’s injury (Los Angeles Chargers Starting QB), the Jacksonville Jaguars have seen 82 percent of the money come in on their side in that game. The line opened Jaguars +10 and is currently +3.5.
Over/Under Betting Money
Dicesare explained that sharp money came in early in the week on the Lions/Vikings Over at the Westgate Superbook. The total opened at 50.5 and is currently 51.5.
Herbert’s injury has also greatly influenced the totals betting in that game. The Jaguars/Chargers total has received 89 percent of the money on the Under. The total has dropped 8 points. It opened at 50.5 and is currently 42.5.
We’ll see if the wins follow the money today.
