The NFL owners meeting that happens in Palm Beach Florida every single year allows owners to vote on big-time rule changes. We have already seen numerous decisions this year such as overtime rules and the defensive holding penalty.
However, the “Tush Push” ban, which is bar far the most talked about potential rule change, also got a big-time update.
BREAKING: NFL Announces Huge Update On The “Tush Push Ban”

According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team:
NFL owners have tabled the banning of the tush-push. They will discuss it again in May.
Here’s where things stand: 16 owners supported banning the tush-push. The NFL could revisit the issue in May, and if they do, those 16 owners will work to sway eight more votes to get it banned.
So this isn’t over yet. Expect some lobbying in the weeks ahead.
Several weeks ago, the Green Bay Packers proposed banning this play due to concerns about player safety. The Packers’ President and CEO, Mark Murphy, has expressed his desire to have the play banned in the past, but it has been reported that many other teams support the Packers in their efforts.
The NFL owners and general managers will meet this week to discuss potential rule changes. In order to remove a ban, 24 out of 32 teams must vote in favor of it. It would appear they are currently eight short of reaching that mark.

Fans immediately reacted to the news that it will be tabled:
They better ban it

Not sure what more needs to be discussed. Feels like it’s ultimately going to get banned the way they’re prolonging this discussion.
