The Pittsburgh Steelers will have the 21st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Pittsburgh started the season 10-3 and there was an outside shot that they could have gotten the number one seed in the AFC.

However, the Steelers lost their last five games of the season, including a 28-14 loss on the road in the wild-card round against the Baltimore Ravens. One of the biggest questions for the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason will be what is going to happen with the quarterback position. It remains to be seen.
Pro Football Focus Gordon McGuinness Thinks That the Pittsburgh Steelers Should Draft Alabama Crimson Tide Quarterback Jalen Milroe

Pro Football Focus writer Gordon McGuinness wrote about what player each NFL should target on either the first day or the second day of the 2025 NFL Draft. For the Pittsburgh Steelers, McGuinness thinks that they should draft quarterback Jalen Milroe from the Alabama Crimson Tide. Gordon McGuinness said:
“Both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields are free agents this offseason and even if they bring either of them back, they are still in the market for a quarterback to develop. Milroe’s hype has fallen some, but he earned PFF grades above 87.0 in each of the past two seasons.”
Likely, the Pittsburgh Steelers will not bring back either Justin Fields or Russell Wilson next season. Pittsburgh may have to sign someone or trade for someone. Drafting a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft in the first or second round isn’t out of the question for this franchise either.
Milroe Stats

Jalen Milroe completed 64.3% of his passes for 2,844 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions this season for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He also rushed for 726 yards on 168 carries and 20 touchdowns, along with averaging 4.3 yards per carry.
Milroe is a great athlete and can use his legs well. However, he needs work on throwing the football down the field. This would be an interesting selection for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but some other potential options for them could be Quinn Ewers of the Texas Longhorns and Jaxson Dart of the Ole Miss Rebels as well.
