On July 28, 2025, a shooting occurred at 345 Park Avenue, the NFL headquarters in Midtown Manhattan. In the lobby of the building, a gunman opened fire around 6:30 PM local time, injuring one police officer and several civilians. After fleeing into the building and barricading himself on the 33rd floor, the shooter fatally shot himself.

Now, three more victims have been identified.

Another three victims have been identified who were killed in Monday’s attack on the 345 Avenue skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan:

NYPD officer Didarul Islam was IDd earlier, having been hailed as a hero by NYC Mayor Eric Adams for sacrificing his life to save others. The 36-year-old was a Bangladeshi immigrant who joined the department four years ago.

He was assigned to a precinct in the Bronx but was working a paid security detail at the time of the shooting.

Islam is survived by his wife, who is eight months pregnant, and two young sons.

“He was doing the job that we asked him to do,” New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said, per ABC News. “He put himself in harm’s way. He made the ultimate sacrifice, shot in cold blood, wearing a uniform that stood for the promise that he made to this city. He died as he lived — a hero.”

Police Officer Didarul Islam represented the very best of our department.

He was protecting New Yorkers from danger when his life was tragically cut short today.

Words cannot express the devastation we feel that our beloved colleague, Wesley LePatner, was among those who lost their lives in the tragic incident yesterday at 345 Park Avenue. We are also deeply saddened by the loss of the other innocent victims, including brave security… pic.twitter.com/q3mTHHntJf

Three more identities have come to light following Monday’s incident, which marks the first of its kind in over two decades.

Wesley LePatner, an employee of Blackstone, housed in the skyscraper, was one of them. Wesley was the global head oc Core+ Real Estate and the CEO of Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust.

She was a wife and a mother of two.

“Words cannot express the devastation we feel. Wesley was a beloved member of the Blackstone family and will be sorely missed,” Blackstone said in a statement. “She was brilliant, passionate, warm, generous, and deeply respected within our firm and beyond.”

Aland Etienne, a security officer, was also killed, with his brother Gathmand Etienne confirming.

“He was more than a brother — he was a father, a son, and a light in our lives,” he wrote on social media. “Our hearts are shattered, and we’re asking for your prayers and strength as we navigate this painful time. Rest in peace, Brother. You’ll never be forgotten.”

Union President Manny Pastreich described Aland as a “dedicated security officer who took his job duties extremely seriously.”

“Every time a security officer puts on their uniform, they put their lives on the line,” he added. “Their contributions to our city are essential, though often unappreciated. Aland Etienne is a New York hero. We will remember him as such.”

Julia Hyman was the fourth person killed in the mass shooting incident. According to her LinkedIn profile, she was an associate at Rudin Management, where the gunman, Shane Tamura, shot his last victim before turning his weapon on himself.

She graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration in 2020.

“Everyone at our company are devastated by yesterday’s senseless tragedy,” the Rudin family said. “We grieve with the families and loved ones of those lost, and we pray for the full recovery of those injured.”

An NFL employee was also critically injured but has not been publicly identified. Commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed they were in stable condition in an internal memo.

The authorities have likely withheld the name out of respect for the family’s privacy amid their investigations.
