We are now in the midst of fantasy football draft season and all fantasy owners are trying to find that edge up on the competition. Who are some of those under the radar players in the NFC South that your competitors may not know about?
Cordarrelle Patterson

Last season, Cordarelle Patterson was productive on the ground and through the air. Patterson had 618 rushing yards, six rushing touchdowns, 548 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns. According to Fantasy Football Calculator, Patterson is getting drafted in the eighth round on average. That is a steal for someone who is capable of over 1,000 yards from scrimmage and over 10 touchdowns. The Atlanta Falcons are projected to be a bad team this season but that will not affect Patterson. The versatile back can be a solid RB2 or amazing flex player for your team.
DJ Moore

DJ Moore is a very talented wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers who has not had a consistent presence at quarterback during his career. Moore will be the number one target of Baker Mayfield this season which should lead to an improvement in Moore’s production. Last season, Moore had 1,157 yards on 93 receptions along with 4 touchdowns. If Moore is healthy all season, he should have an increase in all of those categories. Carolina’s number one target is the 14th wide receiver being drafted on average per Fantasy Football Calculator. Moore will be a solid WR2 or flex for your team.
Cameron Brate

Last season, the number one tight end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was Rob Gronkowski. Gronkowski played 12 games and had 802 receiving yards on 55 catches with six touchdowns. The future hall of famer is now retired and that production will be missed. This is tailor made for Cameron Brate to step up and have a surprisingly big time season. Brate has not had friendly fantasy season in a few years, which makes him the perfect sleeper. He is definitely worth taking a chance on, late in your draft or as an undrafted free agent.
Jarvis Landry

The New Orleans Saints had a really tough season on the offensive end last year. So they addressed those struggles by drafting Chris Olave and are hoping that Michael Thomas is close to the 2019 version of himself. The lost man in the offensive renaissance for the Saints is Jarvis Landry. Landry had a down year, last season as he battled injuries. In this offense, Landry will be a top target for Jameis Winston. Landry will not be a pro-bowler like he was a few years ago but will be a steal for most fantasy owners as a flex or WR3 depending on the type of league you are in. Landry can easily have 70 catches for 750 yards and between 5-10 touchdowns.
Good luck to all the fantasy owners out there. Hopefully these players can give you that leg up that we all need on the competition.
