The New York Jets landed in London on Monday to prepare for Sunday’s international game. They will hold practices on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, as usual. The Jets will then face off against the Denver Broncos at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at 2:30 pm London time, 9:30 am New York time for Week 6 of the regular season.

Michael Carter II suffered a concussion in the second quarter of Week 4 on Monday Night Football. The star nickel cornerback did not practice last week, prompting the Jets to rule him out for Week 5. For Carter to play in Week 6, he needs to go through the five phases of clearing the concussion protocol, which include Symptom Limited Activity, Aerobic Exercise, Football-Specific Exercise, Club-Based Non-Contact Training Drills, and Full Football Activity/Clearance by INC.

During Wednesday’s press conference, Aaron Glenn provided an injury update on Michael Carter II, as reported by Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. The head coach shared that the star nickel did not travel with the team to London on Monday and is expected to miss Week 6 against the Denver Broncos. However, Carter has a slim chance of clearing the concussion protocol and may be able to make the trip later in the week.

NFL New York Jets cornerback Isaiah Oliver

Isaiah Oliver is expected to primarily handle slot duties, while Malachi Moore may see some playing time as well, with Michael Carter II not expected to play. Oliver played 46.7% of defensive snaps compared to Moore’s 38.3% in the slot in Week 5.
