The New York Jets are 4-10 this season in the NFL and they will miss the playoffs once again. The Jets have not made the playoffs since the 2010 season when they reached the AFC Championship Game and lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Owner Woody Johnson has been in the news for the Jets for all of the wrong reasons. The fanbase wants him to sell the team and many Jets fans know that the team will not be good until that happens.

The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt, Dianna Russini, and Mike Silver dove in on a report about the dysfunction inside the Jets organization. Russini reported:

There is a much bigger picture here than just Jeudy’s Madden score. He happened to be traded to the Cleveland Browns from the Denver Broncos instead of being traded to the New York Jets Former general manager Joe Douglass had to work with the dysfunction of Woody Johnson. At least he doesn’t have to work with that anymore.

ESPN found that Madden Ratings were more accurate than PFF grades over a 3-year period from 2021-2023.

The fact that the Jets didn’t make a trade just because of a Madden rating is crazy. Even though the Cleveland Browns are not good this season, it was worth it for them to trade for wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. There are a lot of crazy things in this report about owner Woody Johnson and a lot of the problems are not related to quarterback Aaron Rodgers also.
