The New York Jets are sitting at a 4-10 record and are one of the worst teams in the league despite having high expectations coming into the year. With loads of young stars and veteran talent, New York was expected to make a run in the postseason in 2024. With the regular season quickly coming to an end, there have been rumors circling the Jets that one of their star receivers will be requesting a trade this offseason.

Wilson has shown that he is one of the better young receivers in the NFL and has a lot of talent. This season, the receiver has 933 receiving yards and six touchdowns, and is on the verge of having a third-straight 1,000-yard season since joining the league in 2022. Wilson has been a great addition to the Jets’ offense, but with the dysfunction happening within the organization, he could be looking to sign with another team.
New York Jets 2024
The Jets have struggled to consistently win games despite having several opportunities to make things go in their favor. Struggles from the offensive line and quarterback Aaron Rodgers have prevented the passing attack from being as lethal as many thought it would be this season. Many teams would likely give up a lot to sign Wilson in the offseason, so it will be interesting to monitor this situation.
