The New York Jets have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL this year, currently sitting at a 4-12 record with only one game left in the regular season. With superstar talent all over the field on both sides of the ball, the team and quarterback Aaron Rodgers had playoff aspirations coming into 2024. After an unfortunate season, Rodgers seems to be contemplating retirement.

While it is not an official retirement yet, this quote from Rodgers suggests that he does not expect to be back next year.
Aaron Rodgers Career
The long-time veteran will go down as one of the best quarterbacks to play the sport. He has amounted to 62,678 passing yards and 499 touchdowns in his career, with number 500 likely coming on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. He won the Super Bowl during his time with the Green Bay Packers, is also a four-time league MVP winner, and is considered one of the most decorated players.
Aside from all of the controversy surrounding him, it is impossible to deny that he is a first-ballot Hall of Famer. If this is his last season in the NFL, it will officially be the new era of quarterbacks taking over the league.
