Retired New York Jets safety Victor Green recently expressed his view on the back-to-back woes of the team, from poor performance to losses, to problems with leaks, to having former coach Robert Saleh allegedly fired in the most dramatic way possible, and everything else in between.
From fans to analysts alike, people cannot help but feel disappointed over what’s happening with the Jets, with some fans even describing the experience of supporting the team as “uniquely exhausting.”
Former Jets safety Victor Green took to X to respond to these concerns, and he agreed that the team is “cursed.”

“I’m really beginning to think the Jets are cursed,” Green posted. “I don’t know what else to make of it. All the talent offensively, Hall of Fame quarterback. Talented defense. Crazy exhausting for us fans.”
Victor Green began his career with the Jets back in 2001. He has played for two teams—the New England Patriots and the New Orleans Saints—and signed back with the Jets with the purpose of retiring on the team he began his career on.
Green also highlighted how some players who came from the Jets have gained significant progress in their careers after leaving the team, naming Sam Darnold and Geno Smith in particular.
New York Jets “Need to Put a Stop” to Media Leaks
The New York Jets is no longer new to information leaks to the media, and combining all the recent incidents of leaks and rumors with the disappointing season they are having so far, team quarterback Aaron Rodgers believes that the team has an ongoing problem with the personnel behind it leaking supposedly confidential information to the media.

During one of his appearances on “The Pat McAfee Show” last year, Rodgers expressed his disappointment over media outlets writing news about his team, particularly talking about Zach Wilson’s supposed reluctance to play, which was a huge story about the team back then.
“When you use sources to try and assassinate someone’s character like that report does for Zach, I have a real hard time with that,” he said. “You’re basically saying that this kid is quitting on the team and doesn’t wanna play”

When asked about how to address these issues, Rodgers suggested going down to the core of the team.
“I think it, you know, it starts with figuring out what they are, and putting a stop to it,” Rodgers said.
Currently, the New York Jets stand at 3-9 and stands to be one of the worst performers this season.
