The New York Giants have a lot of questions to answer this offseason. For starters, they need to address the quarterback position before the beginning of the 2024 season. However, the team has other problems.
One of those problems is not knowing whether TE Darren Waller is going to retire. Well, Waller may have given a hint as to which direction he is leaning today.
Darren Waller Releases Music Video About His Divorce

Earlier today, Darren Waller released a new music video on his YouTube channel. This music video was for a song Waller calls “Who Knew (Her Perspective).”
During the song, Waller sings about what many people believe to be his divorce from Kelsey Plum. The two were married for just one year.
Fans React to Music Video

Despite it just recently being released, many fans have already made their opinion known about the music video. Here are some of the most notable comments left by these fans:
“Love, heartbreak, and healing. Raw – pure and honest. This is genuine and really moving! BUT – watch your six bro!”
“Stay up Darren. Keep moving forward always. This is actually quite decent, and the woman that I guess is playing Kelsey Plum is really pretty too.”
“This sh*t kinda go hard.”
“This is excellent work Darren!”
“Congratulations on your new single; I loved the visual, the emotional aspects of storyline was so good!”
“So you saying she did you dirty? Stabbed you in the back ninja what!!”
New York Giants and Darren Waller Moving Forward

One problem with the timing of this music video release is Waller’s future with the Giants is still unknown. Right now, rumors suggest that Waller is considering retiring from the NFL. If Waller does, that would leave the Giants without an obvious replacement at the tight end position.
However, Waller is arguably coming off of his worst season in his nine-year NFL career. In 2023, Waller had just 552 receiving yards and one touchdown reception in 12 games.
So, what will the New York Giants do if Waller decides to retire? New York still has Daniel Bellinger they can work with. On top of this, the Giants drafted Theo Johnson, who is a rookie out of Penn State that the team drafted in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. We will have to wait and see what that position looks like in 2024.
