The New York Giants and linebacker Tomon Fox agreed to terms on a new contract, days before free agency is set to begin.
Fox, 26, has spent the past three seasons with the Giants since signing as an undrafted free agent out of the University of North Carolina following the 2022 NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-4 and 245-pound linebacker has been a steady contributor on special teams in addition to his role on defense, logging 39 total tackles through the first 28 games of his career, along with two sacks, and six tackles for loss.
Last season was Fox’s most productive season to date, where he made 11 starts on defense while finishing with a career-high 24 total tackles and 4.5 tackles for loss.
Fox’s deal is an Exclusive Rights Free Agent tender, which ensures he’ll be paid the league minimum this season but the move prevents him from reaching free agency.
