The New York Giants are waiting to change its franchise with the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. There is a chance that the Giants will pass up on a quarterback and take a cornerstone piece that selection at another position.

There will be talented players for New York to select from. The Giants finished with a 3-14 record during the 2024 season. New York will need to show progress in 2025. Head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen will need to nail this draft once again.
New York Giants Select Mason Graham With Third Overall Pick In 2025 NFL Draft

Nick Baumgardner of The Athletic has the Tennessee Titans selecting quarterback Cam Ward number one overall and the Cleveland Browns selecting defensive back Travis Hunter second overall. That means that Abdul Carter and Mason Graham would be available to the Giants third overall. Baumgardner has the Giants selecting Graham over Carter on this choice.
Carter is a defensive end from the Penn State Nittany Lions and Graham is a defensive tackle from the Michigan Wolverines. Baumgardner said,
“The Giants have spent the entire offseason trying to find veteran quarterbacks in the face of this rookie class, so this, too, could be a Sanders landing spot. But I have zero questions about Graham’s ability to help the Giants immediately.”
Graham is 6’3″ and weighs 320 lbs. During the 2024 college football season with the Wolverines, he recorded 46 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and one pass deflection. A pairing of Graham and Dexter Lawrence in the middle on the defensive line of the Giants would be intriguing. They would look to bolster the defensive line even with having Kayvon Thibodeaux and Brian Burns on the roster also.
