New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers was off to a prolific start to his career, before suffering a concussion in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys.
As the Giants prepare for Sunday’s showdown in Seattle against the Seahawks, Brian Daboll revealed that Nabers won’t be practicing on Wednesday, and remains in the concussion protocol.
Daboll told reporters Wednesday, prior to practice, that Nabers remains in the “early” stages of the protocol.
The fact that six days have passed since Nabers was concussed at MetLife Stadium casts significant doubt that he will clear in time to play Sunday afternoon.
Through his first four games, Nabers has caught 35 passes for 386 yards with three touchdowns, while emerging as the focal point of and most dynamic weapon on the Giants’ offense.
