The New York Giants offense will look to be better in year three under head coach Brian Daboll. It was horrendous a season ago. The offensive line did not do wonders for anyone.
New York made it to the playoffs in the first year under Daboll with a 9-7-1 record. What was hard to swallow this offseason for New York Giants fans was running back Saquon Barkley departing in NFL free agency to the Philadelphia Eagles.

One of the battles to watch for this training camp will be Daniel Jones and Drew Lock for the starting quarterback position. Lock was the backup quarterback to Geno Smith with the Seattle Seahawks a season ago.
New York Giants Wide Receiver Jalin Hyatt Turning Heads During OTAs

Hyatt will be entering his second season with the Giants after he was a third-round pick from Tennessee in 2023. During his rookie season, he caught 23 passes for 373 yards receiving and zero touchdowns, along with averaging 16.2 yards per catch.
On the current depth chart, Jalin Hyatt is with the second unit. However, he can doubt see tons of play time this season for the New York Giants.
Giants.com writer John Schmeelk wrote about Hyatt on Thursday during OTAs:
“Jones’ first touchdown pass went to Jalin Hyatt after Jones rolled to his left to extend the play. Hyatt was covered initially but made a subtle move to create space late and come up with the touchdown catch. Jones’ second touchdown went to Malik Nabers, who did a good job coming back to the ball on a pass over the middle.
Hyatt caught his second touchdown of the period running across the field just in front of the back-line of the end zone. Jones started the play looking to his left. When he found no one open, he quickly got his head around to the opposite side of the field and found Hyatt on time with a pinpoint bullet for the touchdown.”
Jalin Hyatt played his best game a season ago when Tyrod Taylor was the quarterback for the New York Giants against the New England Patriots. Hyatt caught in that contest on 11/27, five passes for 109 yards receiving and zero touchdowns. He was targeted six times and averaged 21.8 yards per catch.

Hyatt will need to develop chemistry with quarterback Daniel Jones this season. Wan’Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, and Malik Nabers are ahead of him currently on the depth chart. If Jalin Hyatt continues to play well in training camp, will see where is he on the depth come Week 1.
