New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt didn’t mince words.

Following the Giants’ final voluntary OTA practice of the spring, Hyatt had a simple five-word proclamation ahead of the 2024 NFL season.
“We have a playoff team,” Hyatt told reporters.
This upcoming season comes on the heels of a wildly disappointing and injury-riddled 2023 season that saw Daniel Jones suffer a torn ACL and several marquee players miss significant playing time.
Likewise, All-Pro running back Saquon Barkley is now the focal point of the NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles offense.
However, offensively, this Giants offense has the potential to be explosive thanks to the addition of No. 6 overall draft choice Malik Nabers at wide receiver opposite emerging talent Wan’Dale Robinson, and Hyatt is expected to take on an expanded role.
As a rookie, Hyatt pulled down 23 receptions for 373 yards but is still in search of his first career touchdown reception. But, the Giants remain optimistic that the former University of Tennessee standout can be a key contributor.
“He’s improved tremendously,” Giants head coach Brian Daboll recently told reporters, of Hyatt.
Can the New York Giants Return to the NFL Playoffs?

New York is looking to return to the postseason for the first time since the 2022 campaign when the Giants reached the playoffs as an NFC Wild Card before beating the Minnesota Vikings and ultimately falling to the Eagles in the divisional round.
This season could prove to be a pivotal make-or-break season for Jones at quarterback and potentially even in the program built by general manager Joe Schoen.
If the Giants’ results can match Hyatt’s confidence, then this could in fact be a special season in the Big Apple.
