The New York Giants dropped to 0-2 on the season with a 21-18 loss against the Washington Commanders on the road. The Giants had two winnable games, but it appears as if they are heading toward a long season once again.
In the offseason, head coach Brian Daboll hired Shane Bowen to be his defensive coordinator. Bowen used to be the defensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans.
New York Giants Fans Already Turning On Defensive Coordinator Shane Bowen In Just 2 Weeks
It is not a surprise that the Giants fanbase has turned on there new defensive coordinator already in the first two weeks of the regular season. On Sunday, the Washington Commanders did not punt once and all of their points were scored on field goals. Washington’s offense had the ball a lot in the game and New York had a difficult time getting off the field.

A lot of Giants fans also wished that they kept Wink Martindale as the defensive coordinator instead of hiring Shane Bowen in the offseason. Martindale is now the defensive coordinator for the Michigan Wolverines.
Big Week 3
The Giants fanbase already has turned on general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll. Bowen is the latest coach on the list to not be pleased by this fanbase.
