The New York Giants entering the day had a 2-12 record and were looking to end its nine-game losing streak. Instead, Drew Lock threw two pick-sixes against the Atlanta Falcons and the Giants lost once again by a final score of 34-7.
With the loss, the Giants are 2-13 on the season and Atlanta improves to 8-7. With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, New York is on track to land the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
New York Giants Fans Thrilled With Another Loss Against the Atlanta Falcons
At this point in the NFL season, Giants fans don’t want to see the team win another game. It would be pointless for them to mess up their draft positioning. At one point in the game, New York had a 7-3 lead against Atlanta and it snowballed for the Giants after Drew Lock threw a pick-six to Justin Simmons.
This is what New York fans had to say on Twitter after they lost to Atlanta:
Thank you for losing. This is the way for 2024

Sanders or ward incoming. As hard as this is, it’s only going to benefit us going forward.

A lot of fans want the team to draft a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft whether it is Cam Ward from Miami or Shedeur Sanders from Colorado. There are only two more games left in this very dreadful season for the New York Giants. The final two games of the season for the Giants are against the Indianapolis Colts (7-8) and the Philadelphia Eagles (11-2).
Potential Clean House
With two games to go, there is a great chance that the New York Giants fire head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen at the end of the season. The Giants have a chance to start all over once again. There will be fans who will call for owner John Mara to sell the team.
It will be very interesting to see what the plane message will be over MetLife Stadium next week before the game against the Colts. This is the 100th NFL season to forget about for the New York Giants organization.
