The New York Giants entered Sunday with the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. On Sunday, the Giants might have played the best game of the season and they upset the Indianapolis Colts by a final score of 45-33. With the win, New York improved to 3-13 on the season. Indianapolis dropped to 7-9 on the season and they were eliminated from playoff contention.
There were a lot of stunned Giants fans after they beat the Colts. They were in the driver’s seat to get the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and now they are going to need some help in Week 18 to do so.
New York Giants Fans Furious With the Win Against the Indianapolis Colts
To no surprise, the Giants fanbase is upset with the win against the Colts. For the second straight season, they may have played themselves out of a franchise quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft. This is what some Giants fans said on Twitter after they beat the Colts:

Drew Lock may have played the best game of his NFL career on Sunday. He completed 17-of-23 passes for 309 yards and four touchdowns. Lock also had a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter for the New York Giants.
Malik Nabers caught seven passes for 171 yards receiving and two touchdowns in the game. He was targeted eight times by Lock. Nabers surpassed the 1,000-yard mark in the game and so did rookie running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. with over 1,000 scrimmage yards for the 2024 NFL season.
Current Draft Order
With the Giants’ loss to the Colts, they now own the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The New England Patriots will have the number one pick, the Tennessee Titans will have the number two pick, and the Cleveland Browns will have the number three pick.
For New York to gain the number one pick, they need to lose against the Philadelphia Eagles. They also need Cleveland, Tennessee, and New England to win in Week 18. It is going to be interesting to see what the Giants do in Week 18. The last thing this fanbase wants is another meaningless win to mess up the draft order.
