New York Giants fans have not forgotten about Saquon Barkley leaving their team for an arch-rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. Giants fans would not have cared if Barkley went anywhere else, but they felt like it crossed a line.
This NFL season, the New York Giants will have a completely different running back room. Devin Singletary is projected to be the starting running back. Eric Gray and rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. are projected to be the second and third running backs on the Giants’ depth chart.
New York’s running back room is not strong by any means. However, Saquon Barkley will be the starting running back for the Philadelphia Eagles this season after D’Andre Swift left Philadelphia this offseason for the Chicago Bears.

At the end of the trailer, it appears as if general manager Joe Schoen is on the phone with Saquon Barkley about a contract with the New York Giants. If Barkley was lying, then the first meeting between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants on October 20 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey got a whole lot more interesting.
