The New York Giants will likely have a top-five draft pick in 2025 as they sit at a 2-9 record. New York has made multiple questionable decisions since this past offseason when they traded running back Saquon Barkley to the Philadelphia Eagles and recently released quarterback Daniel Jones from the team. The Giants have made another quarterback announcement with all the chaos within the organization.
New York Giants Quarterback Announcement
According to head coach Brian Daboll, New York just announced that quarterback Tommy DeVito is dealing with a forearm injury and is not 100 percent to play this Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys. DeVito and Drew Lock are the only quarterbacks on the current roster.

NFL Fans React
With all of the current controversy surrounding the team, this news has caused NFL fans to troll the Giants for letting Jones go, saying that they should resign him since he is available.
They should sign Daniel Jones, heard he’s available

They could use Daniel Jones right about now

DeVito started in last week’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and went for 189 passing yards and no touchdowns. After he was taken out of the game, Lock came in and only threw for three passing yards. With Lock as the only available option for the team this week and possibly the rest of the season, New York will likely finish the season holding one of the top picks in the NFL draft.
