The New York Giants finished the 2024 season with a 3-14 record. Ever since Brian Daboll has been the head coach and Joe Schoen has been the general manager, they have taken steps backward and not forwards. They were 9-7-1 in their first season and 6-11 in their second season.
A lot went wrong for the Giants in 2024. They also did not win any games in the division during the 2024 NFL season. It is going to be a very long offseason for the New York Giants.
New York Giants Owner John Mara Keeping Head Coach Brian Daboll and General Manager Joe Schoen In 2025
A lot of people were wondering if the Giants were going to make moves in the front office and head coach in 2025. On Monday morning, owner John Mara announced that he is going to keep both Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen for the 2025 NFL season.

Interestingly, Mara decided to keep these two for another season. In 2025, it will be the fourth season that Daboll and Schoen will be together. Many Giants fans have disapproved of the job that Joe Schoen has done during his first three seasons as the general manager of this football team.

Great what could go wrong in a season with a rookie QB and a GM and HC on the hot seat?

Same old, nothing will change as long as Mara’s the owner

Idk what to think here. Not like our track record of new hires was any better though Ive always thought Shurmur was given up on too quickly.

Good move if they’re given the full 2 years left on their deals to turn this around.
Schoen hasn’t been bad as narrative. 2024 draft was a turning point and free agent signings have been solid. Dabes can scheme offense.
Get the QB and continue to build the trenches

I’m sorry but tell Mr. Mara it’s in his best interest to step away like Daniel Snyder and sell the team. I’m a 42 year dedicated fan and love this franchise but I am so sick of this. It’s not ok anymore and I’m very disgusted with this. Your saying it’s ok to be god awful and hve…

If the Giants are bad in 2025, it will continue to be a disaster for this franchise. Many fans think that the team will not be good again until John Mara sells the team. Bad ownership over the last decade may be the main reason why the Giants are not a good franchise to play for anymore. If Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen were to be fired next year, it would be hard to attract new general managers and head coaches for the Giants.
