The New York Giants have faced Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott twice a year over the last several years. Prescott will be a free agent at the end of the 2024 season. He has yet to sign a contract extension with the Dallas Cowboys.

The Giants are undecided about what to do with quarterback Daniel Jones. He is the starting quarterback, but they tried to draft another quarterback this offseason. Instead, they signed Drew Lock in the offseason and Lock is the backup to Jones this season. 8
Bleacher Report Suggests That the New York Giants Sign Dak Prescott In the Offseason

If the Cowboys don’t re-sign Dak Prescott this offseason, the Bleacher Report Scouting Department suggests that the New York Giants sign him. They said:
“If Jones doesn’t pan out this season and gets made the scapegoat in New York while Brain Daboll stays as head coach, Daboll will be on the hot seat heading into 2025. So, he likely would rather bring in a proven veteran at quarterback rather than rely on a rookie with his job on the line.
Prescott will be the top quarterback on the open market if he and the Cowboys can’t reach an agreement on a new contract. As a result, the Giants would likely be the first team in line to steal the signal caller from one of their biggest rivals.”
It would be interesting to see him stick it to a divisional rival potentially. Dak Prescott would be a massive upgrade over Daniel Jones.
Giants Have Better Receivers Than the Cowboys

The New York Giants wide receiver core is better than the Dallas Cowboys receiving core. Outside of CeeDee Lamb, what else does Dallas have? As for the Giants, Malik Nabers is on a rookie contract. They also have Wan’Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt. Darius Slayton is in the final year of his contract. They probably will not re-sign him.
Dallas will also need to re-sign Micah Parsons at some point and they can’t pay everyone. Dak Prescott has taken a lot of heat with the Dallas Cowboys, but he has been a good leader for them. He would be a good leader for the New York Giants, especially since the media market isn’t any easier in the Big Apple.
