The New Orleans Saints made roster moves Tuesday as they head into the second week of their preseason, shoring up their backfield and adding depth in the secondary.
The New Orleans Saints are adding an undrafted cornerback

The cornerback the Saints put on their 90-man roster has already spent time with the New England Patriots since slipping by in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Kaleb Ford-Dement bounced around the nation during his college days, racking up enrollment at four separate colleges before making his way into the NFL.
Ford-Dement played for the Washington State Cougars, Old Dominion Monarchs, Kilgore College Rangers (community college) and finally the Texas State Bobcats in his final year. He racked up 32 tackles, three interceptions and seven deflected passes with the Bobcats.
The New Orleans Saints are now down to one fullback

Another part of the roster moves that the Saints initiated Tuesday was the waiving of fullback Zander Horvath. A product of the Purdue Boilermakers, Horvath spent time with the Los Angeles Chargers for the first portion of his career.
He saw the field in 15 games for the Chargers in 2022 but bounced between the Chargers and Steelers practice squads during the 2023 season.
Horvath played at Purdue for all four of his college years, contributing in all facets of the game for the Boilermakers. Horvath’s most productive season in college saw him record just under 800 yards from scrimmage with over 300 yards receiving.
Horvath finished his career at Purdue with just under 1,200 yards rushing and just under 600 yards receiving. He was listed as a running back while in college, but he was never a go-to ball carrier with the Chargers. Instead, he was more of a lead-blocking fullback.

The only fullback that remains on the Saints roster is Adam Prentice.
