Even though Tom Brady is out of the league, every piece of memorabilia related to his run can still fetch some value in the market. This is evident in the former New England Patriots star’s belongings, particularly a wristband he wore during Super Bowl LI
In 2017, the New England Patriots achieved one of the most remarkable comebacks in sports history during Super Bowl LI against the Atlanta Falcons. Trailing 28-3 with just over 17 minutes left, the odds seemed insurmountable. ESPN’s Win Probability Chart gave the Falcons a staggering 99.8% chance of winning.
However, quarterback Tom Brady and the Patriots refused to give in. They orchestrated an incredible rally, scoring 25 unanswered points to tie the game by the end of regulation. In overtime, Brady led a decisive 75-yard drive, culminating in a touchdown by running back James White, clinching the Patriots’ fifth Super Bowl title.
Super Bowl LI remains iconic, not just for the score but for the message it conveys: as long as there’s a chance to win, hope should never be lost. This extraordinary comeback continues to resonate, symbolizing resilience and determination in the face of overwhelming odds.

Apart from the Super Bowl LI wristband, Brady’s last college jersey from the 2000 Orange Bowl and his NFL Combine jersey are also set to be auctioned by Sotheby’s this fall. The college jersey, worn during Michigan’s thrilling overtime win, has a pre-sale estimate of $300,000 to $500,000. Brady’s Combine jersey is expected to fetch between $100,000 and $200,000.
This auction not only celebrates Brady’s legacy but also offers fans a chance to own a piece of sports history. If all goes well, the Super Bowl LI wristband and all the other items that will be auctioned by Sotheby’s’ will garner a huge price once everything is said and done.
