The New England Patriots are in a pretty good position when it comes to controlling the 2025 NFL Draft. There are many different routes they could take when it comes to their Draft strategy, especially since they added quite a bit of talent in Free Agency. So who could be some great fits in Foxborough? Here are a few of my favorite prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

Luther Burden is a player I have been very high on since his breakout season in 2023. He had a very down year this past season in 2024, however, a lot of that can be contributed to poor quarterback play. The good news is, since most of the league is down on Burden, he could be available to the Patriots in the second round. Burden is an incredible separator, and has undeniable athleticism and burst. By pairing him with Patriots Quarterback Drake Maye, he could turn into a serious weapon at the NFL level. If New England really wants to get aggressive, they could even trade up from pick thirty-eight, into the twenties to make sure they get Burden to Foxborough.
Will Campbell, OT, LSU

There has been quite a bit of controversy surrounding the arm length of Will Campbell. At the combine, his arms measured in at shorter than the standard thirty-three inch length that is considered the base line for tackles at the NFL level. However, at his pro day, his arms measured in perfectly at thirty-three inches. This has created a lot of debates of whether or not he can play tackle in the NFL. In my opinion, his arm length should not be a concern at all. His tape in college is nothing short of elite. He has played left tackle his entire college career at the SEC level. He consistently fights off future NFL edge rushers in the SEC, and has shown that he can be an incredibly dependable blind side protector. When the Patriots are on the clock with the fourth overall pick, I believe Campbell will be in serious consideration by Mike Vrabel and company.
Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State

The best word to describe Quinshon Judkins’ play style is electric. Whenever Judkins touches the ball, he has the potential to score. He is a true home run hitter for any offense he plays in, and if the Patriots add him alongside a much improved offensive line, he could maximize his potential. The current starting running back in New England is Rhamondre Stevenson, but with his consistent issues with fumbling, Judkins could immediately have a chance to start for the Patriots.
Kyle Williams, WR, Washington State

One of my favorite later round prospects is Washington State wide receiver, Kyle Williams. Williams is a serious down field threat. He needs to be accounted for, especially on his vertical routes. He could be an incredible complement to Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs, who will more likely be more of an intermediate route specialist. Adding a home run threat, could also be very fun to watch with quarterback Drake Maye. Maye has a huge arm, and has the ability to hit Williams on just about any deep route he runs. If the Patriots want to add a playmaker on day three, Williams could be a primary player they set their eyes on.
How could the Patriots Draft position impact their ability to get these players to New England?

The Patriots are in a very good spot when it comes to controlling the NFL Draft. They currently sit at pick number four, and hold nine total picks. They have plenty of capital to move around the board if they choose to do so. When it comes to some of the top prospects, New England will have their choice of some pretty good players since they are picking so high in the first round. A player like Kyle Williams will be much easier to get to Foxborough since he is projected as a later round prospect. Overall, the Patriots are one of the teams that have a pretty good hold on controlling the Draft, and they should be able to come away with multiple contributors in 2025.
