Week 3 Money Line Betting Dogs
(Betting odds provided by The Action Network)
This week there’s only 2 ML and 2 ATS lines receiving at least 80 percent of the betting action. The public is backing more totals this weekend.
Michigan State +150
Bettors have confidence that the Spartans will go on the road and defeat Washington. Michigan State is receiving 89 percent of the ML bets.
Vanderbilt +115
It is rare for an SEC team to find itself as an underdog to a MAC team, but that’s exactly the case for Vandy. And the public is backing them big time. The road underdog Commodores are receiving 84 percent of the ML bets.
Week 3 ATS Betting Dogs
Old Dominion +8.5
The Monarchs opened +10 and are currently at +8.5. ODU is receiving 84 percent of the bets on this in-state rivalry game against Virginia.
Western Kentucky +6.5
The line opened Western Kentucky +7. WKU has received 81 percent of the betting action.

Here’s a few interesting dogs to watch this weekend…
Public Betting Against Struggling Fighting Irish
A small majority (52 percent) are backing California to pull the outright upset over Notre Dame. The odds opened California +475 and is currently +410
Monarchs and Hilltoppers also receiving Majority of ML Bets
While under 80 percent of the ML bets, it is worth mentioning that Old Dominion and Western Kentucky (who are listed in the ATS section) are both receiving the majority of ML bets in their respective games. Old Dominion opened +330 on the ML and are currently +270. The Monarchs are receiving 64 percent of the ML bets in this contest.
Western Kentucky is receiving 54 percent of the ML bets in their matchup with Indiana. The Hilltoppers opened +215 and the current odds are still at +215.
FCS vs FBS Underdog Betting Action
We have two FCS teams who are receiving the majority of the bets in their respective matchups with FBS foes to keep an eye on.
Montana State +15
Montana State is receiving 79 percent of the bets against Power 5 member Oregon State. And while the majority of the bets are on the underdog, the line has moved against them. The line opened +14 and is currently at +15.
Youngstown State +31.5
Like Montana State, the majority of the bets are on the underdog (76 percent in this game), but the line is moving towards Power 5 Kentucky in this matchup. The line opened +30.5 and is currently at +31.5
A Rare FCS favorite versus an FBS team
North Dakota State -1.5
North Dakota State, the defending (and multiple time) FCS National Champions are road favorites against Power 5 Arizona Wildcats in this one. The Bison are receiving 67 percent of the bets but the line is moving against them as well. NDSU opened -3 and are currently -1.5.
Let’s see if the public can get on the right side this weekend.
